Zurich Connect launched Homeflix in the Italian market in June 2019. Homeflix is a digital home insurance offering available on mobile devices. Homeflix represents a new generation of insurance, offering a solution completely different from traditional insurance. The product is modular, fully configurable (therefore affordable), and offers customers home-related services that make life easier. With just few clicks, the customer takes control of everything from purchasing their policies to filing a claim and requesting various other services unrelated to insurance. Customers no longer have to complete long questionnaires with detailed questions to get a quote. With just five questions Homeflix, is able to offer to our customers the solution that best fits their needs The service is mobile first and based on an app which uses a conversational interface; contacting Zurich is now as easy as chatting with a friend. Everything is facilitated via Flix, a virtual assistant that helps with more than just insurance services. Apart from such insurance-related services as managing claims, call assistance services and requesting professional intervention, Flix can be used to arrange tasks such as laundry service or wine delivery – covering many home-related needs. Homeflix is evolving as we continue to add more and more services to the app.
