A comprehensive view of environmental impact

Available through the ING App, Mi ECOHuella analyzes account and card transactions to estimate carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions and water consumption. Customers can view their environmental impact over time, broken down by category and transaction. The tool also allows users to refine calculations through a lifestyle assessment, access personalized recommendations to reduce their footprint, and compare their consumption against national averages.

Mi ECOHuella also offers data visualizations and equivalences to help users better understand their impact. The service includes customization options, allowing individuals to tailor their experience and explore the methodology behind the calculations.

A step forward in sustainable banking

By integrating this feature into its app, ING reinforces its commitment to sustainability and raises awareness of the environmental impact of daily financial activities. The initiative aligns with a broader effort to promote responsible banking and empower customers with tools to make environmentally conscious decisions.

Powered by AI-driven sustainability insights

Mi ECOHuella was developed in collaboration with Clarity AI, a leading technology company specializing in AI-powered sustainability analytics. The platform leverages data from over 70,000 companies and employs advanced methodologies to estimate emissions and water usage across various sectors.

With this launch, ING continues to position itself at the forefront of green banking innovation, offering its customers practical solutions to manage and reduce their ecological footprint.
