Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), a leading insurer in the MENA region, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alfardan Automotive to enhance digital customer experiences and streamline car-related services in Qatar.

Seamless digital access to automotive services

The agreement was signed by Salem Al Mannai, Group CEO of QIC, and Dr. Ma’n Alhamawi, CEO of Alfardan Automotive. This collaboration integrates Alfardan Automotive’s premium services into the QIC App, providing car owners and drivers in Qatar with seamless access to a range of vehicle-related solutions.

Through the partnership, users of the QIC App can now book car rentals for select brands represented by Alfardan Automotive, including BMW, Mini, Land Rover, and Jaguar. The app will also facilitate service bookings for mechanical and electrical repairs, vehicle check-ups, tire services, and other maintenance needs at Alfardan Automotive’s service centers.

Driving digital transformation in Qatar’s automotive sector

Commenting on the agreement, Salem Al Mannai emphasized the significance of the partnership in advancing digital convenience for motorists. “This marks a major step in our journey to build the region’s first insurance-powered digital ecosystem. The QIC App is designed as a one-stop shop for drivers and car owners in Qatar, and this collaboration will further elevate digital customer journeys.”

Dr. Ma’n Alhamawi highlighted Alfardan Automotive’s commitment to digital innovation. “Integrating advanced technology with our premium services allows us to enhance customer interactions, improve efficiency, and set new benchmarks for the automotive sector in Qatar.”

A new era of car ownership and insurance services

This MoU reflects a broader industry shift toward digital transformation, reinforcing both companies’ dedication to delivering high-quality, tech-driven customer experiences. By combining automotive services, insurance solutions, and digital convenience, QIC and Alfardan Automotive are setting a new standard for car owners in Qatar.
