AEON Bank introduces interactive digital banking loyalty programme

24/02/2025News

AEON Bank has launched "Neko Missions," an interactive digital banking loyalty programme designed to enhance customer engagement through gamification. The initiative integrates virtual stamp collection into daily transactions, offering rewards in collaboration with merchant partners such as ZUS Coffee and Tealive.

Building on its existing AEON Points Programme, AEON Bank continues to differentiate itself by integrating a retail loyalty programme directly within its mobile banking app. The new feature aims to encourage cashless transactions, supported by PayNet’s DuitNow QR system.

“Neko Missions infuses fun into everyday banking by allowing customers to engage with their favorite retail and F&B brands,” said AEON Bank (M) Berhad CEO, YM Raja Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz. “We aim to expand our partnerships within AEON’s ecosystem and create a more dynamic digital banking experience.”

Customers can participate by collecting "Neko Paws" stamps through the AEON Bank app. Transactions of RM20 and above using DuitNow QR, until March 31, 2025, earn one Neko Paw per transaction, up to two per day. Ten stamps can be exchanged for 1,000 AEON Points, equivalent to RM5. Similarly, purchases at ZUS Coffee of RM7 or more using the AEON Bank Debit Card-i, until May 31, 2025, will earn stamps redeemable for rewards via the ZUS Coffee app.

PayNet’s Senior Director of Commercial, Azrul Fakhzan B. Mainor, highlighted that the collaboration encourages digital payments while offering incentives to consumers.

AEON Bank plans to expand Neko Missions to additional partners, including myAEON2Go, AEON Fantasy, and Sisters Crispy Popiah. The initiative complements other AEON Bank loyalty offerings, such as its Share-Share Lah Referral Programme, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to a more connected, digital-first financial ecosystem.
