The ever-increasing number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide highlights the significance of this segment and the need for banks to serve it with great attention and care.

A community of SME banking decision-makers

The Qorus SME Banking Community, led by the industry expert Ken Burke, brings together SME banking decision-makers from around the world, both virtually and in person, to discuss the key challenges they face in better serving their SME clients. They also share the innovative solutions they implement to address these challenges.

Some of their insights and initiatives are available on the Qorus website, including the ‘From Insights to Impact’ series, created in partnership with VeriPark. This series covers three critical topics: segmentation, service unification and distribution channels. Another recent report is ‘The AI Imperative: Navigating AI & Data for SME Banking Success’, developed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services.

Launching the 2025 SME Banking Awards

The Qorus SME Banking Community is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 edition of its SME Banking Awards. This year, two categories will be featured:

• SME Bank of the Year – Recognizing banks that demonstrate outstanding efforts in meeting the needs of SMEs through innovative services, products and customer engagement

• SME Banker of the Year – Honoring inspiring bankers who contribute significantly to their bank’s SME banking success through innovations, impactful initiatives, business achievements and industry visibility.

If you want to showcase your excellence in SME banking, participating is simple and free of charge. Just complete the application forms by 28 February, 2025. The winners, chosen by industry voters, will be celebrated at a special ceremony in Vienna on 14 May, during the Reinvent Forum Vienna 2025.
