Roadzen, a global leader in AI-driven solutions for the insurance and mobility industries, has announced the integration of DeepSeek R1 into its MixtapeAI platform. This move enhances MixtapeAI’s capabilities with advanced reasoning and ensures strict data sovereignty, reinforcing Roadzen’s commitment to secure, intelligent automation.

How MixtapeAI and DeepSeek R1 are transforming insurance workflows

MixtapeAI, launched earlier this year, streamlines complex workflows across insurers, brokers, agents, car manufacturers, and fleet operators. Previously leveraging AI models from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Meta, the platform now includes DeepSeek R1—hailed as the most powerful open-source advanced reasoning model with traceability. This integration allows MixtapeAI to deliver more intelligent, context-aware AI agents, improving processes such as customer onboarding, policy administration, and claims handling.

Ensuring data security and sovereignty in AI applications

A key differentiator is MixtapeAI’s data sovereignty assurance. All AI operations remain within Roadzen’s dedicated data centers in the U.S., Europe, and India, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and preventing data from leaving designated jurisdictions.

Rohan Malhotra, Roadzen’s Founder and CEO, highlighted the strategic advantage of incorporating DeepSeek R1. “We are incredibly excited about DeepSeek’s innovations, which help us lower inference costs while improving AI reasoning capabilities,” he said. “By integrating these advancements into MixtapeAI, we provide our clients with an enterprise-grade solution that delivers efficiency and security without compromise.”

Malhotra further emphasized that as foundational AI models continue evolving in a competitive landscape, the real economic value will emerge in AI-driven applications. “The insurance and mobility industries stand to gain the most from AI at the application layer, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this transformation,” he added.

MixtapeAI with DeepSeek R1 is now available globally, with early adopters already seeing tangible benefits. Roadzen’s latest move signals a continued commitment to innovation in AI-driven automation for insurance and mobility.
