Strategy and Product Delivery

Shavin Kissoondharry, Strategy and Product Delivery at Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB), presents the bank's mobile-first dedicated channels for SMEs, with a particular focus on microbusinesses (see also this case study).

He highlights two innovative solutions. The first is the JuicePro app, launched in 2020, which serves as MCB's banking app designed specifically for SMEs. Engaging entrepreneurs through the mobile channel has been a top priority for MCB, leading to strong adoption rates and excellent app usage.

The second solution is Punch by MCB, a community-based platform tailored for MCB's business customers. This ecosystem offers tools and resources to support small businesses, incorporating open banking capabilities. Punch is designed to help customers efficiently manage their businesses and foster growth.
