Qorus celebrates the success of its recent leaders roundtables

19/11/2024Article

Qorus’ Leaders Roundtables have become a crucial platform for banks to address shared challenges and learn from each other’s innovative solutions in a confidential, collaborative setting. As demand grows for peer-to-peer intelligence in the banking industry, Qorus has stepped up with a unique approach: highly targeted, invite-only roundtables led by specialized experts who offer tailored insights on pressing issues for banks worldwide.

John Berry, CEO of Qorus, emphasized the organization’s mission: “Collective intelligence always has the edge. We are the world’s premier peer-to-peer intelligence organization for financial services and a catalyst for reinvention. Our mission is to help bankers drive transformation by connecting them with the right people, organizations, and ideas.”

Digital onboarding: Transforming SME banking experiences

In December 2023, Qorus held a Leaders Roundtable on “Digital Onboarding Leading to Limitless Opportunities.” This session focused on overcoming common barriers banks face in digitally onboarding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Participants identified key strategies to streamline digital onboarding, ultimately enhancing efficiency and expanding banking access for SMEs through seamless, automated processes.

Achieving the perfect omnichannel mix to maximize customer value

In February 2024, Qorus hosted another Leaders Roundtable titled “Achieving an Optimal Channel Mix to Maximize Customer Value.” This roundtable explored how banks can strike the ideal balance, or “Goldilocks” mix, of in-person and digital components within their omnichannel strategies. Discussions centered on ways banks can enhance customer engagement by fine-tuning each distribution channel, maximizing customer satisfaction while improving operational efficiency.

Agricultural banking transformation: Fostering innovation in agribusiness

In June 2024, Qorus launched the “Agricultural Banking Transformation” roundtable. This session encouraged collaboration among banks focused on the agriculture sector, supporting stakeholders across the entire value chain—from farmers and producers to retailers and suppliers. As agricultural banking evolves, this roundtable series will continue to address innovations and challenges in agribusiness, ensuring ongoing discussions to adapt to an industry in flux.

The evolving role of bank branches: Adapting to customer expectations

As banks reduce their branch networks in favor of digital services, they face the dilemma of what to do with underutilized physical locations. The upcoming “Branch Evolution in Banking” roundtable will bring experts together to explore strategies for repurposing branches, ensuring they remain valuable in an increasingly digital landscape. This discussion will aim to find new ways to meet evolving customer expectations while retaining a physical presence.

Remote banking: Enhancing customer service beyond in-person interactions

In addition to physical branch evolution, remote banking is emerging as another pressing topic. While offering everyday online banking services is now standard, many banks struggle to deliver high-quality, personalized remote customer service. Qorus’ roundtables will soon address this challenge, focusing on how banks can meet customer needs through advanced digital support channels that rival in-person service.
