Santander X expands global platform for SMEs, startups, and entrepreneurs

Santander X now offers an enhanced range of benefits to both customers and non-customers. These include a variety of free, online courses in multiple languages, designed to equip businesses with knowledge in areas such as digital marketing, growth strategies, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. In addition, platform users can access exclusive discounts on technology, legal advice, IT consultancy, and other essential business services. The goal is to provide practical tools that address the everyday challenges entrepreneurs and businesses face.

Comprehensive solutions for business growth

Rafael Hernández, Deputy Global Head of Santander Universities, described Santander X as a pioneering initiative in the sector. He emphasized that the platform offers comprehensive solutions that include training, events, and financial support—crucial for businesses navigating today’s fast-paced digital landscape. These resources are available to all companies and entrepreneurs who register on the platform, regardless of whether they are Santander customers.

Thousands of businesses benefit from Santander X in 2024

In the first half of 2024 alone, around 6,000 businesses participated in the platform’s initiatives, including challenges and contests. Additionally, Santander X’s exclusive community, Santander X 100, now connects over 200 companies worldwide, helping them scale and succeed.

Supporting entrepreneurs through innovation and education

Santander has long been a leader in supporting education, employability, and entrepreneurship. Over the past 27 years, the bank has invested more than €2.3 billion in initiatives that drive sustainable growth and innovation, partnering with nearly 1,200 universities and organizations globally to help businesses thrive.
