Agilauto Partage, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, and OpenFleet, a specialist in car-sharing technology, have joined forces to become the leader in corporate car sharing in France by 2026. Their goal is to manage 10,000 shared vehicles, offering a comprehensive, turnkey solution for businesses.
Currently, Agilauto Partage manages 200 vehicles, with 90% being electric. In early 2024, they will expand their rural car-sharing model to businesses. OpenFleet, which manages over 1,000 vehicles for private companies and municipalities, will provide the technology to support this expansion. Their car-sharing system equips vehicles with devices to track usage and enable keyless entry through an app, simplifying access for employees.
This partnership aims to help businesses optimize their fleets by reducing vehicle numbers, lowering CO2 emissions, and offering a new mobility option for employees. Agilauto Partage will handle operational management, including vehicle maintenance and employee support, while OpenFleet will provide the advanced car-sharing technology.
The partnership also offers companies the opportunity to monetize their car-sharing service outside of business hours. Employees can reserve vehicles for personal use in the evenings and on weekends through a dedicated app, creating an additional revenue stream for businesses.
By combining their expertise, Agilauto Partage and OpenFleet are set to lead the corporate car-sharing market in France, offering sustainable and flexible mobility solutions to meet the growing demand.
