Mastercard is rolling out a new business subscription management tool for companies using Mastercard Business cards in the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA) region. Powered by Nuclei, this tool will help small businesses streamline subscription processes and reduce costs, launching first in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region before expanding across EEMEA.

Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face challenges managing multiple business subscriptions with different renewal dates, often leading to missed cancellations and unnecessary expenses. The new platform provides an efficient solution, allowing businesses to track and manage all their subscriptions in one place.

In addition to simplifying subscription management, the tool encourages businesses to make subscription payments via Mastercard, offering a more efficient alternative to slower account-to-account (A2A) transfers.

“The subscription model has evolved, and businesses now rely heavily on these services,” said Ankur Joshi, CEO of Nuclei. “Our platform helps companies optimize their subscriptions by addressing inefficiencies in the process.”

Thomas Kuncheria, Senior Vice President for Small and Medium Enterprises at Mastercard EEMEA, added, “SMEs are crucial to economic growth, but many struggle with digital transformation. This partnership with Nuclei helps businesses save time and money on managing subscriptions, supporting Mastercard’s mission to connect 50 million micro, small, and medium enterprises to the digital economy.”

Nuclei, a global fintech company, is part of Mastercard’s Start Path program, which helps fintech startups develop and bring new technologies to market.
