Banco Sabadell launches first fully digital account for self-employed individuals

Banco Sabadell has launched the first fully digital account tailored for self-employed individuals, strengthening its commitment to this customer segment. This new Online Account features a 100% digital onboarding process and extends the benefits of retail accounts to self-employed customers. It also offers an annual bonus of 120 euros for those who set up a direct debit for their Social Security contributions.

Carlos Ventura, Director of Business Banking, Network, and Private Banking, emphasized the unique needs of self-employed individuals, highlighting the bank's dedication to providing specialized services. The new digital product allows customers to manage their banking activities anytime, eliminating the need to visit branches, and offers customized support and advantageous conditions.

Launched in March, the new account includes no fees or conditions and provides 2% annual interest on balances up to 20,000 euros. Customers will also receive an annual bonus of 120 euros for direct debit Social Security payments. The account features free debit and credit cards, as well as free transfers and cash deposits. Additionally, customers can open a second personal account with the same benefits, including 3% cashback on direct debits for electricity and gas bills.

Banco Sabadell is committed to providing a fast online service with access to specialist managers, eliminating the need for branch visits. Customers also benefit from a network of over 1,400 Business Banking managers available through ATMs and branches.

The new online account grants access to essential services for self-employed individuals, including PoS systems, digital payment solutions, and quick financing assessments with a 48-hour response time.
