According to The Korea Times, Hana Bank has teamed up with Hire Diversity, a platform company serving foreign students, to provide specialized financial services and education for this demographic in Korea.
This initiative responds to the growing number of international students in Korea, in line with the government's "Study Korea 300K Project" aimed at attracting more overseas students. With fewer Korean students enrolling, there's a heightened focus on supporting foreign students.
Hana Bank commits to offering convenient and secure financial services through its Hana EZ app, including overseas remittance and financial education programs. It's the first bank to issue Hana Certificates in 16 languages, emphasizing its dedication to linguistic diversity.
Meanwhile, Hire Diversity offers administrative services through its HireVisa app, assisting with resident registration, real estate deposit protection, and health insurance premium exemptions.
By partnering with Hire Diversity, Hana Bank aims to streamline financial transactions and support the welfare of foreign students in Korea. This collaboration underscores the bank's commitment to inclusivity and tailored solutions for its diverse clientele.
