How KBC Bank is changing the branch experience with BAMBOO

In 2014, KBC Bank in Belgium opened several small branches called BAMBOO. Featuring a self-service area, a dedicated advice area and comfortable chairs for waiting customers, these branches are managed by employees equipped with tablets so they can greet customers and provide information. Employees can also use video conferencing facilities on large flat-screen monitors to contact financial experts to help customers with more complex queries.
