French bank La Banque Postale has unveiled its newly redesigned mobile banking app, marking a major milestone in its digital transformation journey. Co-developed with feedback from over 800 clients, the app offers a smoother, more intuitive user experience tailored to modern banking needs.
Available now on the App Store and Google Play, the app has already been downloaded by 5.7 million users. With simplified navigation, easier account access, and a sleek new interface, it’s designed to make everyday banking easier—from checking balances and managing cards to making transfers and booking appointments with advisors.
Simplicity, security, and accessibility
The app features streamlined processes for essential actions, and sensitive operations like online payments or transfers now require only a six-digit passcode. Biometric authentication using fingerprint or facial recognition will be added in 2025. In line with La Banque Postale’s commitment to inclusion, the app’s accessibility has also been improved to better serve clients with disabilities.
Fast, secure transfers and exclusive perks
The app now includes Wero, a fast money transfer feature that allows customers to send or receive funds between accounts in under 10 seconds using just a phone number or email address. It also offers access to exclusive customer benefits like cashback programs, youth discounts, and the Carbo carbon tracking tool.
Zakaria Moursli, Deputy CEO of La Banque Postale, described the app as “simple, intuitive, and inclusive,” adding that it aligns with the bank’s mission to simplify customer experiences and promote digital inclusion. Sandrine Pierrot, General Manager of Retail Banking, emphasized the importance of co-creation with customers in shaping the app’s design and functionality.
With a clear focus on innovation and accessibility, La Banque Postale continues to strengthen its position as a citizen-focused, forward-thinking bank.
