The Qorus Insurance Innovation of the Month award for February goes to Turkey’s Quick Sigorta for its QuickFinansall platform, a bold attempt by an insurance company to create a complete financial services ecosystem in a market heavily dominated by banks.

It’s not unusual nowadays to hear of banks launching one-stop-shop financial services platforms, encompassing everything from insurance to travel bookings and mobility solutions. But for insurers, venturing into the wider world of integrated financial services is still an outlier – especially in Turkey where such offerings were until recently the exclusive preserve of banks.

Quick Sigorta set out to challenge this norm and build its own 360-degree digital ecosystem, streamlining the financial services experience for both its customers and its network of over 7,000 agencies across Turkey. With the QuickFinansall platform, the company has redefined itself as the first and only insurance company in Turkey to offer such a comprehensive ecosystem.

Launched in June 2024, QuickFinansall brings together various services including loans, insurance, digital wallet payments, and mobility services such as car rentals. The platform provides customers and agencies access to these offerings through a single interface, making it easier for partners to manage multiple aspects of their business and customers’ needs.

The groundwork for QuickFinansall began in 2022, with a bold push by Quick Sigorta to transform its agencies from insurance-focused businesses into broader financial entities. As the project gained momentum, the company enlisted its insurtech subsidiary Valde Bilişim to handle the tech side of the platform’s development, while Quick Finans and QCAR Mobility contributed their expertise in financial and mobility solutions.

Together, these teams created a seamless environment where users can access everything from insurance policies to car rentals with just a few clicks. Through its B2B portal QPORT, Quick Sigorta’s 7,000+ subsidiaries and partners bring their services to a wider audience, optimizing business opportunities and enhancing efficiency.

Although still in its early stages, QuickFinansall has already shown promising results: over 10,000 loan applications, more than 1,000 car rental requests, and over 500 franchise partnership applications by year-end 2024. As the ecosystem matures, Quick Sigorta expects to consolidate its position as a major player in Turkey’s integrated financial services arena in the coming year.

With this innovative project, Quick Sigorta has successfully demonstrated that insurance companies can play a pivotal role in Turkey’s evolving financial landscape, challenging the traditional dominance of banks. As such, QuickFinansall is a deserving winner of the last Insurance Innovation of the Month award of this edition, securing its place in the 2025 award nominations. Submit by 26 February for the Innovation in Insurance Awards 2025.
