SoFi, a digital financial services powerhouse serving over 10 million members, is transforming how everyday investors access diversified asset classes with the launch of its enhanced robo-advisor platform. Known for its member-centric approach, SoFi’s latest offering integrates alternative asset classes into automated investment portfolios—an industry rarity. Partnering with BlackRock Inc., the world’s largest asset manager, SoFi democratizes access to strategies traditionally reserved for high-net-worth individuals, eliminating the barrier of seven-figure investment minimums.

Meeting the demand for diversified options

This new feature builds on SoFi’s 2024 introduction of alternative investment funds, addressing a growing demand for innovative strategies. According to a recent survey, 81% of individuals express interest in alternatives, underscoring a market ripe for disruption. SoFi’s solution provides personalized, low-cost investment opportunities through an intuitive and educational platform. “Our new robo platform bolsters our commitment to empowering the everyday investor,” said Anthony Noto, SoFi’s CEO. “By offering one of the most comprehensive selections of alternative assets available online, we’re enabling members to pursue their financial goals in more meaningful ways.”

Customizable portfolios with expert guidance

SoFi’s Robo Investing includes three customizable portfolio themes: “Classic,” a balanced mix of stocks and bonds; “Classic with Alternatives,” featuring real estate and multi-strategy funds; and “Sustainable,” focusing on environmentally and socially responsible investments. Members benefit from expertly curated portfolios, a low 0.25% annual advisory fee, and the ability to optimize taxable and non-taxable accounts.

By breaking down traditional barriers, SoFi continues to redefine investment accessibility, aligning with its mission to help members achieve long-term financial success.
