CaixaBank launches Facilitea Coches: A new platform for used vehicle financing

CaixaBank has introduced ‘Facilitea Coches,’ an innovative online portal designed to streamline the purchase and financing of used vehicles. This initiative reflects CaixaBank's strategic commitment to consumer credit and digital transformation, offering a seamless experience for finding and financing pre-owned cars.

The platform launches with over 150 partner car dealerships, featuring a catalogue of approximately 5,000 used and pre-owned vehicles. The selection includes cars no older than six years, with mileage under 100,000 kilometers, and a significant portion carrying ZERO and ECO labels, emphasizing sustainability. Customers can browse vehicles, secure competitive financing, and complete purchases entirely online, while dealerships handle delivery.

Facilitea Coches: A step forward in consumer credit

‘Facilitea Coches’ introduces an innovative financing model where loans are tied directly to the purchase of specific vehicles rather than offering generic credit options. This approach enhances transparency and simplifies the borrowing process. Financing options are currently available exclusively to CaixaBank customers, but plans are in place to extend access to non-customers in 2025.

The platform underscores CaixaBank’s focus on consumer finance, a key growth area highlighted in its Strategic Plan 2025-2027. During the first nine months of 2024, the bank loaned over €9 billion in consumer credit—a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Part of the facilitea ecosystem

‘Facilitea Coches’ is an integral part of Facilitea, CaixaBank’s broader "selectplace" platform, which offers financing for products and services tailored to various life stages. Facilitea integrates with e-commerce solutions like Wivai to deliver a vast range of products in technology, mobility, home, and leisure. Through Facilitea, CaixaBank customers enjoy access to competitive financing options in a user-friendly online environment, aligning with the bank's vision of innovative, customer-centric solutions.
