Established in 1981, the Asian Bankers Association (ABA) has long been the leading platform for Asian banks to collaborate, foster regional financial integration, and advocate for the banking industry at both regional and international levels.
This year, ABA is once again organizing its flagship event, the ABA General Meeting and Conference, which will be held on November 18-19, 2024, in Taipei, Taiwan. The theme for the 40th edition of the event is "Asian Banks: Transitioning Toward a Sustainable Future."
Among the distinguished speakers invited to this prestigious event is John Berry, CEO of Qorus, who will participate in Plenary Session 4 titled "CEO Forum: The Great Banking Transition." This session will provide John with the opportunity to share innovative practices adopted by pioneering banks.
"We are the world’s premier peer-to-peer intelligence organization for financial services and a catalyst for reinvention. Our mission is to help bankers drive transformation by connecting them with the right people, organizations, and ideas,” John Berry remarked.
He emphasized the importance of collective intelligence, stating, "Some banks are truly exceptional, but collective intelligence always has the edge, enabling you to stay one step ahead."
John also expressed his excitement about attending the conference, saying,
"Meeting and exchanging ideas and best practices are at the core of what we do at Qorus. It’s also what the 40th ABA General Meeting and Conference is all about. I look forward to being part of this event, making new connections, and catching up with old acquaintances with whom I’ve shared many engaging conversations in the past".
This collaboration between Qorus and ABA marks a closer relationship between the two organizations, which have decided to join forces to enhance global knowledge and share insights from their respective members.
