Marcin Kurczab, Director of Innovation at PZU, discusses the company's journey toward innovation. PZU has established an Innovation Lab to drive transformation through new technological solutions provided by startups. This initiative aims to support PZU’s business units in modernizing their core operations by harnessing the power and flexibility of the startup ecosystem, both in Poland and internationally.
Marcin explains how PZU fosters innovation through its startup program and presents their seven-year innovation funnel. Over this period, approximately 7,000 projects were piloted, with around 45 ultimately implemented and achieving the company's financial KPIs.
He concludes with insights into current insurance trends, highlighting the impact of generative AI and presenting a case study on their AI assistant, developed by their b rand new GPT Lab.
