Ally Financial has teamed up with Calm, the top app for sleep, meditation, and relaxation, to help Americans achieve better financial and mental health. With 59% of Americans experiencing financial stress regularly, this partnership aims to address the issue by offering over one million free three-month Calm trials to the public and one-year premium subscriptions to Ally customers.

This collaboration includes the launch of new financial wellness content on the Calm app, featuring conversations with financial wellness expert Kelley Long and Jack Howard, Ally’s Head of Money Wellness. This initiative supports the recent launch of Ally Money Roots™, a financial wellness program based on money psychology.

Andrea Brimmer, Chief Marketing and PR Officer at Ally, highlighted the company’s innovative approach: “We’re thrilled that our collaboration with Calm will help us reward our customers and consumers everywhere who want to live more mindfully and find the joy in money.”

Ally’s recent survey reveals the significant impact of financial stress, with nearly half of Americans feeling its effects on a daily or weekly basis. Younger generations, particularly Gen Z and Millennials, are the most affected. The survey also found that 66% of respondents experience disrupted sleep, and 65% report a negative impact on their mental health due to money concerns.

To further support users, Ally is curating a financial wellness playlist on the Calm app, offering meditations and mindfulness practices focused on money management. For more information and to sign up for a free Calm trial, visit www.ally.com/calm.

Through this partnership, Ally and Calm are pioneering a new approach to holistic financial and mental wellbeing, empowering individuals to manage their finances with confidence and calmness.
