Co-Founder and Managing Partner

MiddleGame Ventures is a fintech venture capital firm investing in early-stage startups at the intersection of Fintech 3.0 and Web 3.0. Based in Luxembourg, it collaborates with the LHoFT (Luxembourg House of Financial Technology). Pascal Bouvier, its Co-Founder and Managing Partner, tells Qorus’ Boris Plantier about the company and its plan to launch new funds.

What inspired the establishment of Middlegame Ventures?

We established MiddleGame Ventures (MGV) to seize the growing opportunities within the fintech sector (lending, payments, capital markets, asset management, insurance). Drawing on our experience in financial services, we aimed to invest and support early-stage fintech startups, providing both capital and strategic guidance, helping them scale and achieve commercial success. Recognizing the significant digital transformation occurring in financial services, we saw an opportunity to invest in innovative solutions that could disrupt traditional financial models or help them bridge the digital gap. Our vision includes fostering sustainable growth and achieving significant returns on investment, thus creating long-term value for both the portfolio companies and investors in our funds. Additionally, we aimed to build a robust network of industry experts, entrepreneurs and investors, thereby creating a supportive ecosystem for startups. We are currently focused on Europe.
