Allianz Partners and Aer Lingus extend partnership until 2027

Aer Lingus, the Irish flag carrier, and Allianz Partners, a leader in B2B2C insurance and travel solutions, have extended their collaboration until March 2027 across 12 European markets and the United States.

As part of the extended partnership, Aer Lingus will offer customers multi-risk travel insurance solutions provided by Allianz Partners, covering trip cancellation, travel delays, missed connections, medical benefits abroad, and baggage protection. The ease of access allows customers to purchase these services when booking their flight tickets through the Aer Lingus website, mobile app, or Manage My Booking for existing reservations.

To enhance the customer experience, Aer Lingus and Allianz Partners will utilize advanced digital platform services, providing personalized travel insurance offers tailored to Aer Lingus customers across multiple markets.

Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus, highlighted the extended partnership's goal of offering customers insurance options tailored to their specific needs, ensuring peace of mind for their journeys.

Damien Carty, Head of Sales at Allianz Partners Ireland, expressed delight in extending the collaboration, providing 'technology with the human touch' to Aer Lingus customers.

Jean-Marc Pailhol, Chief Officer Global Strategic Partnerships at Allianz Partners, emphasized the commitment to developing travel protection products meeting the ever-changing needs of customers and providing peace of mind for travelers.

This extended partnership signifies a continued commitment to delivering comprehensive travel protection and solutions for Aer Lingus customers.
