Santander Brazil has entered into a strategic alliance with Fiat, the automotive market leader. In collaboration with Stellantis Serviços Financeiros, the partnership aims to deliver exclusive insurance offerings for customers financing new Fiat vehicles through Santander's extensive network of over 500 dealerships across Brazil.

Under this collaboration, Santander Auto, the digital insurance arm of Santander, will provide annual coverage for Fiat's top-selling models at a fixed rate of 2.99% of the car's value nationwide. This represents a remarkable discount of over 50% compared to average market rates.

A distinctive advantage for Fiat customers is the flexibility to integrate the insurance premium into their car financing installments, offering a convenient and cost-effective solution. Paolla Caldas, CEO of Santander Auto, highlights that this partnership presents a unique opportunity for car buyers to secure comprehensive protection with personalized service at an attractive price.

Caldas notes, "This is the best time to purchase comprehensive protection, with exceptional service and at a great price, which can be seamlessly integrated into the financing agreement."

Santander Auto introduces a streamlined, fully digital process for obtaining insurance, eliminating the need for extensive questionnaires commonly associated with traditional insurers. Customers can leave the Fiat dealership with active insurance without the requirement for a physical inspection.

The collaboration between Santander and Fiat extends beyond insurance, with the two entities partnering in financial services since August 2023 when Stellantis established Fiat Financiamentos in conjunction with the bank.

Jean Pierre Avril, CEO of Stellantis Financiamentos, sees this insurance solution as a significant milestone in delivering unprecedented benefits to Fiat customers. He emphasizes that the exclusive Auto Insurance aligns with their strategy of providing unique products and enhancing the overall value for each vehicle sold.

This collaboration underscores the commitment of Santander and Fiat to offer innovative financial solutions and exclusive benefits to their shared customer base, marking another step in their ongoing partnership.
