In a significant move towards modernizing the home lending process, ANZ has introduced the ANZ Plus digital home loan, now available on iOS and Android. This groundbreaking initiative aims to streamline and simplify the end-to-end digital home lending experience, providing customers with a quick and efficient way to secure a home loan through the ANZ Plus mobile app.

Targeting eligible owner-occupier applicants in metro New South Wales and Victoria for refinancing, the ANZ Plus digital home loan boasts a competitive variable lending rate of 6.14%. Maile Carnegie, Group Executive, Australia Retail, emphasized the importance of making the home buying process as easy and fast as possible, recognizing it as one of the most significant financial commitments individuals make in their lifetime.

The ANZ Plus home lending process offers customers several benefits, including an upfront valuation of their home, a fast approval process, access to expert coaches, the ability to track settlement progress, and in-app access to a redraw facility. The digital platform also prioritizes enhanced protection from scams, introducing features such as secure in-app video chat with an ANZ Plus Coach, secure high-value payment transfers, and a default block on screen sharing to prevent potential scams.

Maile Carnegie highlighted that the ANZ Plus digital banking platform, which has garnered over $10 billion in deposits and attracted 500,000 customers, continues to evolve with a commitment to innovation. Future updates to ANZ Plus promise additional features, more complex loan types, and tools to help customers own their homes sooner.

The introduction of ANZ Plus signifies a significant leap in digital banking, offering a seamless and secure experience for customers navigating the complexities of home lending. As ANZ continues to invest in cutting-edge technology, it positions itself as a leader in providing innovative solutions that prioritize customer convenience and financial well-being.
