Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management announces the launch of Stock Fractions, giving WellsTrade clients the ability to buy fractions of a company’s stock in the Wells Fargo Mobile app. Stock Fractions allows do-it-yourself investing clients to build a diversified portfolio, regardless of stock price. Clients can now buy pieces of up to 500 of the most traded equities, starting with as little as $10.00. WellsTrade also offers $0 online trades and a $0 annual fee.*

“With the launch of Stock Fractions we’re helping to make investing more accessible to even more people,” said Michelle Moore, head of Consumer and Wealth & Investment Management Digital at Wells Fargo. “You can own a little of a lot of companies, and trading in your favorite companies could not be easier, all in the Wells Fargo Mobile app,” she said.
The introduction of Stock Fractions is one of a number of enhancements recently made to enhance the WellsTrade client experience in the Wells Fargo Mobile app – including easier navigation and access to research, ability to manage dividend reinvestments, after-hours trading, chat with a servicing agent, and access to LifeSync to set and track goals.
