What led to the creation of Prime Bank Agent Banking?
Prime Bank launched its Agent Banking initiative with a vision to take banking services to the unbanked people across the Bangladesh, especially in the most rural and semi-urban areas. Prime Bank Agent Banking ensures financial inclusion of millions of people at the grassroots level who are presently beyond the purview of the formal financial system. The inclusive model of banking is opening up economic opportunities, creating employment and invigorating the economy in communities in remote areas, where the brick and mortar branch model is not financially viable.
