Qover breaks into the European electric car market with InsureMyTesla

16/11/2021News

As Qover continues to pioneer insurance solutions for disruptive businesses, the company is very excited to announce that it is expanding its offering with InsureMyTesla – Qover’s newest solution engineered for Tesla drivers.

A tech-driven, Pan-European solution

InsureMyTesla is a digital insurance solution exclusively for Tesla drivers who are looking for personalised coverage for their electric car.

Qover offers this insurance product for all Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y drivers in Belgium and Spain, and will soon be launched across Europe. The coverage has been designed in collaboration with insurer Helvetia and claims management company Van Ameyde.

A tailor-made solution for electric vehicles

There are three different insurance plans to best meet the needs of Tesla drivers: 'Essential', 'Preferred' and 'Complete'. Each plan has unique benefits to provide Tesla owners with greater flexibility. For example, the ‘Preferred’ and ‘Complete’ plans offer ‘Glass Cover Plus’ and charging equipment coverage.

The user experience is incredibly fast and simple: Tesla drivers can get their contract in less than a minute. Before receiving their car, customers are invited to sign up for one of the fully customised plans. Users answer a few questions – such as the model and kilometres driven per year – get a quote for each plan and instantly receive their contract.

Qover Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Jean-Charles Velge adds, ‘We are very excited to launch InsureMyTesla across Europe and put our stamp on the electric car market. This European solution is a major programme that once again positions Qover as a trusted partner for disruptive tech players.’
